A lifetime edition. The second, revised and expanded edition of the textbook prepared by an ordinary professor of the Imperial Moscow University. It contains a systematic exposition of Russian civil procedure and for a long time served as the main manual for students of law faculties.

This copy is of interest to collectors as an example of educational literature of pre-revolutionary Russia.

Evgeny Alekseevich Nefediev (1851–1910) was a Russian jurist, specialist in commercial law and civil procedure, and an honored professor of Moscow University; a graduate of the law faculty of Moscow University, and from 1896 an ordinary professor of the department of commercial law and commercial procedure.
