The second poetry collection by Anna Dmitrievna Radlova, born Darmolatova, a poet of the Silver Age, translator, and brilliant figure in the Petrograd literary circle.
Published by Alkonost, the volume comprises two sections: Universal Spring and New Honeycombs. Radlova's verse, close to the 'Emotionalist' group under the influence of Michail Kuzmin, is dominated by the themes of love, death, destiny, and acceptance of the revolutionary storm as a tragic and vital force.
Like the later 1922 collection The Winged Guest, the book was prohibited by Soviet censorship and is now a bibliographic rarity of considerable collecting value.
